Midlands RTSM

My name is George Bloor and I am the Midlands RTSM (Regional Training Scheme Manager). There is a steady flow of aircraft movements of all types to and from our airfields on most nights and at weekends. From time to time special events are arranged featuring one or more of the airports to attract higher levels of traffic. The success of this is measured entirely by the enjoyment of the members participating as controllers or pilots. My philosophy is the more we all enjoy it, the more people will come back.

If you would like to be part of the action as a controller, use the Join link to become a member and start training in the tower of your chosen airport! Make yourself known to us through the forum and get involved. We are a friendly bunch and all aim to provide the best, most realistic ATC experience possible for this part of the UK.

If you wish to fly in the Midlands area, please use the information on these pages to help understand how it all works and what the controllers are expecting you to do. If there is time during your flight, the controller will always try to help resolve any questions you may have.
