Hello and welcome to the Scottish and Northern Ireland RTS webpage!

Scottish and Northern Ireland includes the main airfields of Belfast Aldergrove, Belfast City, Prestwick, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen; as well as smaller airfields such as Londonderry, Inverness, Islay, Tiree and many more. The Scottish and Northern Ireland RTS also includes the two en-route area control centres; Scottish Control (EGPX) and the Scottish TMA (SCO).

After joining the Scottish and Northern Ireland RTS as an observer you will undertake a “Getting Started Session” where we will demonstrate how to use the Air Traffic Control Clients, basic controlling skills and allow you to take part in some controlling of your own! After this you will be asked a series of questions to test what you have learned before being allowed to control at one of our aerodromes.

Using the navigation links on the left you will find a vast amount of resources to help your virtual controlling career in Scottish and Northern Ireland, which are constantly being revised updated and added to, in order to give you the best experience possible!
